What is something that would surprise me about you?
I was a semi professional dancer for 13 years.

What can I expect from your class?
A full immersive experience that hopefully makes you feel larger than life from the music, to the poses, the longer flow, and the ideology we experience together. My classes tend to focus more on transitions, flow, and progression in weeks-long journeys.

What is the most essential part of practice for you?
The most essential part of practice is that it is a practice; that every class even from the same teacher is something new for us to approach with a different mind set, a differing breath, and a different intention.

My name is Juan Sebastian. I am a first generation Mexican American who is Queer and aiming to live my life in memory of those before me and in honor of those ahead of me. I have years of experience in dance, fitness, and yoga accumulating to roughly 15 years. Starting in dance, I realized that movement is my home; that movement allows me and my body to feel larger than myself and that I am a part of something larger than my physical body. Then the transition from dance to fitness and yoga allowed me to truly live the experience of being a part of something larger; community. Finding this community that mixes with so many others, I now move and exist for two reasons: to love and be loved, and to create and experience larger than life moments.
