Join Nat Kendall for an extra special evening of meditation and conversations about the spiritual path. We will discuss meditation (the benefits & challenges), practice sitting together in silence and then open into conversation around building our capacity for true presence. Through conversation and practice we will explore tools and techniques to navigate the mind, and the world at large by becoming more aware of the sacred connection between mind, body and soul. This is open to complete beginners or seasoned meditation practitioners – no experience necessary.

PRANAYAMA FOR STRESS RESILIENCE

Feeling stuck in constant anxiety and ‘stress mode’? Neuroscience proves what Yogis have known all along – that mindful breathing can re-configure our brain and prime our body so we can surf those waves and have an easier time facing the challenges life throws at us.

In this workshop, we will experiment with steering our ‘fight or flight’ as well as ‘rest and digest’ response, using nine different breath techniques (pranayama) with muscle locks (bandhas) as tools to achieve various vibes, from to ‘you got this! wide awake’, to ‘calm and collected’, to ‘sleep mode.’ This workshop interweaves ancient yoga and modern science, combining neuroscience and breath anatomy with subtle body theory.

Deciding to do yoga teacher training is a big commitment!
Finding the best fit in terms of curriculum, educational approach, teachers and schedule are all things you want to consider.

Our program is both teacher training and life training. You will learn how to navigate the totality of your human experience – physical, mental and emotional – with skillful awareness and curiosity. In getting to know yourself better, you will develop authentic ways to share the teachings of yoga with others.
