A FOUR WEEK LEARNING JOURNEY

Weekend One: Foundations of Yoga

The journey begins by laying a strong foundation in ‘Foundations of Yoga.’ This initial weekend focuses on the physical aspects of yoga, particularly Tadasanoids, coupled with an introductory exploration of yoga’s rich history and philosophy. The sessions delve into the foundational principles of the 8-limbs and Yama/Niyama, setting the stage for a deeper, more informed yoga practice.

Weekend Two: Meditation and Breath

The second weekend, ‘Meditation and Breath,’ brings a shift from physical postures to the internal landscapes of meditation and pranayama (breathwork). Centered around the Warrior 1 family of postures, this part of the program offers a profound understanding of how breath control can enhance both mental clarity and emotional stability, enriching the meditative experience.

Weekend Three: Understanding Purpose

In ‘Understanding Purpose,’ the third weekend, we explore the Warrior 2 family of asanas while intertwining lessons on Dharma (life’s purpose) and Sankalpa (intention or resolve). This segment is a journey of self-discovery, aimed at aligning your yoga practice with your personal values and goals, leading to a more purpose-driven life.

Weekend Four: Putting it All Together

The program culminates in ‘Putting it All Together,’ where the focus shifts to forward bends and the development of a sustainable, long-term yoga practice. This final weekend also emphasizes the importance of community, concluding with a special gathering that celebrates the connections and growth experienced throughout the program.
