What is something that would surprise me about you?
I am very much an introvert. While I cherish social connection, I often feel overwhelmed in large groups. I prefer to spend time 1:1 or in small groups of 3-5 people whom I know well.

What can I expect from your class?
Influenced by an amalgamation of Eastern mediation practices, my classes are a blend of movement and mindfulness. With a focus on nurturing our natural curiosity, each class is an opportunity for developing a deeper relationship with ourselves and our body. The goal of my practice is to serve as an invitation to apply this relational approach both on and off the mat.

What is the most essential part of practice for you?
Mindfulness and presence.

Born and raised in Denver, Colorado, Drew is passionate about life and the connections we build along the way. Wearing numerous hats throughout their life, they are a former professional dancer, high school drop-out, and world traveler, with an unquenchable thirst for learning and curiosity. In addition to dance, yoga, and mediation, they are animated by queer community, queer politics, history, philosophy, dad jokes, capitalism, the environment, EBID (equity, belonging, inclusion, and diversity), psychedelics, and the ineffable. Drew has worked with, developed, and helped recruit leaders for 10+ years in non-profits, healthcare and the queer community.
