What is something that would surprise me about you?
I rode my bike from SF to LA to raise money/awareness for HIV/AIDS Research! (Aids Life Cycle).

What can I expect from your class?
I bring a fun, playful, and energetic quality to my classes. You can expect precise cueing, intentional breath work, and plenty of space to learn, practice, connect, and grow.

What is the most essential part of practice for you?
For me, the most essential part of practice is Grounding, taking a moment to slow down from the day to day to simply breathe and be.

Axel is a passionate and dedicated Yoga Teacher with a mission to guide you on a transformative journey toward holistic well-being. He has had the privilege of witnessing countless individuals enhance their physical strength, mental clarity, and emotional harmony through the practice of yoga and mindful movement. Axel’s journey into yoga began as a quest for personal healing and growth. Through disciplined practice and a deep exploration of philosophy, asana, and meditation, I discovered that yoga is not just a physical exercise, but a path to self-discovery and self-care. Their classes are designed to provide a safe and nurturing space for students of all levels to embark on their own transformative journey. They believe that yoga is a union of mind, body, and spirit, and I strive to create classes that seamlessly integrate these elements. Axel’s teaching style is a fusion of Hatha and Vinyasa yoga, focusing on alignment, breath awareness, and flowing movement; each class is carefully crafted to challenge and inspire, while also encouraging self-compassion and respect for individual limitations.

“A teacher isn’t all knowing and powerful, a teacher is someone brave enough to share their truth” -Viola Davis
