Kundalini
Breath-Work
Meditation

What is something that would surprise me about you?
I’ve got a second degree black belt in Go Ju Ryu Karate and used to teach martial arts.

What can I expect from your class?
Lighthearted spiritual exploration using the breath, posture holds, gentle movement and meditation.

What is the most essential part of practice for you?
Time to integrate the physical and nonphysical.

My journey into movement and mindset began at age 12 when I enrolled in Go Ju Ryu martial arts and it quickly became a pillar of my life.  Through that practice I grew to understand the relationship between the mind, through our meditation practice, and the body.  After 15 years of study and teaching, I hung up my black belt and moved on to gentler practices such as yoga and dove even deeper into my curioustites around what influences the evolution of our consciousness.

I have a degree in biochemistry and spent the majority of my career in the ‘hard’ sciences, from helping companies develop novel therapeutics in oncology research to being part of the team that first brought blood based genomic diagnostics to market. Now the worlds of science and spirituality have merged within me and I find my purpose in sharing what I have learned over the years through meditation, kundalini yoga, psychedelic breathwork and the intuitive arts.

I believe in boldness, in living life in a way that stretches you just a bit further than you may feel ready for.  Nothing brings me more joy than witnessing someone declaring their passions and allowing them to be fueled by their intentions. Kryas, the foundation of Kundalini yoga, help you to do this and more.  They are energetic intentions that you can try on and see how they feel.

In this way, I believe that we are all spiritual scientists, discovering bold new ways to evolve our consciousness and as we do, we look beside us and behind us and help others along the path of Life.
