I was a competitive figure skater for 15 years.

What is the most essential part of practice for you?
Integrating the philosophy into everyday life; sharing yoga as a life practice that goes beyond the mat.

Lauren Cohen teaches yoga throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and leads retreats all over the world. She is passionate about sharing yoga as a life practice, one that goes far beyond the mat. Lauren was a dancer and competitive figure skater for nearly 15 years and first started practicing yoga in college. She completed her first 200-hour training with Marni Task in 2011 and has been teaching ever since. She has studied under masterful teachers including Jason Crandell, Janet Stone and Stephanie Snyder and is currently continuing her education with Tias Little, focusing on yoga as a therapeutic path to true healing.
