What is the most essential part of practice for you?
My greatest goals in leading any practice are to provoke prideless curiosity, facilitate authentic connection, and enable each practitioner to continuously rediscover the growth and groundedness available through this practice.

Makenna is a California-based yoga and meditation teacher. With an academic background in physiology and anatomy, Makenna’s yoga classes are rooted in science to provide safe and accurate suggestions for deepening muscle activation and improving flexibility. Makenna embraces an integrative approach to teaching that leverages her studies of psychology, neuroscience, and meditation to assemble creative and intentional sequences that equally involve the mind and the body.
