What is something that would surprise me about you?
I swim all the time in the bay with no wet suit! I love it! It rejuvenates me very much and sometimes I get to swim near the seals! It’s so awesome! You should try it sometime!

What can I expect from your class?
You can expect a challenging well-rounded physical as well as spiritual practice. Although very challenging, I share the practice in what I like to consider a loving, light-hearted, and non-dogmatic way. You can expect a mellow playlist, spicy asana breakfast, and an intelligent sequence that touches every cell in the body.

What is the most essential part of practice for you?
The most essential part of the practice for me is being a beginner. It’s really easy to get on auto-pilot and think that I “know” yoga but really I know nothing. The past is history and the future is a mystery. Staying open and receptive in each time I roll out the mat, in a yoga pose, and or even when I roll up the mat. Keeping the beginners mind is something that helps me way beyond getting deeper into poses or getting stretchy. It helps me in my relationships with others and to practice the principles of yoga in all areas of my life.

Yoga has been a practice that has and continues to change my life from the inside out. The physical practice of yoga has allowed me to challenge my own beliefs and go beyond the limits of my mind. It has given my life purpose and has given me a design for living in the 8 Limbs which allow me to better show up for the ones I love. My purpose in sharing the practice of yoga is to share what I love in a very down to earth and non-dogmatic way. I believe that Yoga is a discipline and although I always encourage everyone to rest as needed I believe in encouraging ourselves beyond the perceived limits of our mind.
