REBECCA
ROGERS

She/Her

Vinyasa

What is something that would surprise me about you?
I lived and worked in the Amazon Rainforest for two years on a conservation/ecotourism project in my twenties, where I had a pet monkey named Pepita.

What can I expect from your class?
Fun, sweaty, soulful vinyasa flow and a reminder that you are part of a community (a movement!) that is committed to personal transformation for the benefit of the greater good.

What is the most essential part of practice for you?
Moving, breathing, sweating, and singing together in community.

I am an experienced yoga instructor who has been teaching for close to 15 years. My classes are often described as fun, sweaty and soulful and my teaching style combines a strong Vinyasa Flow intended to build strength, flexibility and body awareness with creative sequencing, precise alignment, breathwork, music and deep connection. Classes are safe for newer students and challenging for more experienced yogis. And as a new mama myself, I welcome prenatal and postpartum students into my classes (if you had a regular yoga practice before pregnancy or have attended at least a few prenatal or postnatal classes).

My intention above all is to use the tools of yoga to help awaken each of us to a higher sense of purpose in our lives, reaffirming our commitment to living a life of purpose and meaning, deepening our connection to a community of like-minded and heart-centered people, and committing to transformative action and sustainable service out in the world.

I’m also a two-term Lululemon Ambassador, resident instructor with Deep House Yoga SF and Outdoor Yoga SF, Pachamama Journey leader to the Amazon Rainforest, and have taught yoga at Wanderlust Squaw Valley, Wanderlust 108 San Francisco, Conscious San Jose Festival, and Wisdom 2.0.
